Before and After

Logan gets them mixed up... which in turn mixes me up.... which then creates chaos and confusion in our little house. He'll tell me that he wants to watch his movie after his nap. I'm okay with that, so I go to put him down for a nap and he starts screaming, "My movie after my nap, my movie after my nap." So then I'm like, "huh?" I ask him if he means before his nap, then you can guess how confusing that conversation got.

Brandon and I are really into this new show Fringe. Have you checked it out? Way cool and kinda freaky. Written by some of the same people who did LOST, another one of my favs.

Our friends in the ward gave us the biggest bag of the cutest plums from their tree. They're so small, but amazingly delicious!!

I got to take Ali and Josh's engagment pics this past weekend. What do you think? Here are a few of them.

I need your prayers--BAD!! Headed to the dentist tomorrow.... haven't been in like 6 years. I keep having horrible dreams that they pull out all my teeth 'cuz they've rotted. YUCK!!

Bath time

I realized I haven't taken pictures of Logan in the bath in quite a while. Logan has a new favorite bath toy--the squirt bottle. Lovely to come walking into the bathroom with your socks on, only to step in a large puddle of water. I hate wet socks.

Landen LOVES his big brother and watches him take his bath everyday. He laughs and laughs when Logan dances in the bathtub. He usually does some funky move and asks, "You like this move landen?" "How about this one baby?" I totally need to get it on video.

A little obsession...

It's about that time--Halloween. I'm crazy obsessed. Brandon always rolls his eyes when I start talking about it in August. Now we get to start decorating next week. I take two days to take down all of our origional decor and then on Oct. 1st, I put up all our stuff--It usually takes like 3 days. Yea, I have a lot of stuff. Here's some pictures of the boys when they got into my spider stash--yes, I have a stash... Right now we're growing our own skull. It's one of those fun-- grow a boyfriend type thing-- Logan keeps running to look at it. He's so funny, he says, "Mommy, come look! The Skill is getting bigger!" It kills me that he calls it a skill--too funny!

For your viewing pleasure...

and because I'm bored, here's my FAVORITE commercials right now.

(The backpack one is my favorite because it totally reminds me of Logan. If you know him--you know that he is a REALLY good dancer, even at the age of 3. Cracks me up--my little break dancer. His friend Ryan came over yesterday for a playdate and he said to Patti (Ryan's mom), "Look at my sweet moves!" then busted out dancing--I don't know where he heard that from, but she couldn't stop laughing. Thanks for making my life full of SWEET MOVES Logan!! )

This one I found with my sister on the internet-- still cracks me up! Gotta love Sonic commercials!

Have a wonderful day!!

Wrestle Mania

Every sunday night we like to sit in front of the TV and watch Funniest Home Videos. Nothing like seeing a grown man get kicked in the crotch. hehe We had this same tradition when I was a kid, I remember how fun it was, so we've decided to keep the tradition. We usually pop some popcorn and make Koolaid, but last night Logan was already hopped up on cold medicine, so we decided not to. They did have a wrestling match instead. Landen decided he needed to join in as well. Mommy did not take part--she doesn't like to be tickled!

Landen wondering what in the world is going on.

Now he wants to join in.

awww, how cute

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt

Please, someone feel sorry for me..

Will it ever end?? Seems like we've had sickness after sickness around here. Brandon and i got some wierd cold last week and now Landen has a bad ear infection and Logan has a high fever. UGH! Oh, well, it's an excuse to cuddle up in my favorite blankie and watch movies all day! I'll be just happy with a couple Disney flicks!

I got Brandon to take a couple headshots of me this past weekend for some scrapbooking stuff. Which one do you like best?? I'm kinda leaning towards the second one.

Oh, and I'm so spacey sometimes. Here is the recipe for the Truffles - only I use half a can of frosting and a whole package of softened cream cheese. Here is a link to my epilator! Once you try those truffles, you'll be making them all the time!

Drooly kisses

A common saying at our house with two small boys. Brandon likes to chase Logan around the house carrying a flying Landen with drool running down his chin, yelling, " logan wants drooly kisses!" and then he'll make Landen plant one on Logan. Both the boys think it's soooo funny. Brandon is so great with the boys- for that I am truly grateful!

So we've been cooped up the last couple of days with nothing to do!! I know, so sad. I haven't had the chance to take any new pictures, so I thought I'd share some fun new things I've discovered lately that I'm obsessed with!

Numba 1: My new epilator--oh you cause so much pain but I love love love you. This baby rips out all your hair--so much easier than waxing! Thank you Kerianne and all my cousins for introducing this puppy into my life!
Numba 2: Skinny flare jeans from Aeropostale. I've NEVER had jeans fit me correctly until now. I'm so short and well, really weirdly shaped. These are AMAZING and they have a little give to them so don't feel so tight (plus they make my butt look really, really good, hehe)

Numba 3: My new curling iron from Hot Tools. I've been growing out my hair for a couple years now and it will NOT hold curl, mostly from how heavy it's gotten. So my amazing sister Kelsey taught me how to curl it from top to bottom with this AWESOME tool. It holds my curls for two days which makes me happy!!Numba 4: Cake balls (okay that name just cracks me up--thanks Ali) they're actally called truffles. I made these a couple months ago for mother's day and they were a HUGE hit. I've made them two more times and they're always gone in like 10 minutes!

First day of preschool...

weep, weep. The girls in my ward decided to start a preschool once a week. We rotate houses and share the same cirriculum book. Logan is so excited about it, such a great way for him to socialize and learn some new things! He learned about the letter A and brought an airplane that he got for his birthday to show and tell. Here's his pictures--what a goof ball.

He found a peephole and decided to spy on the neighbors instead of smiling for the camera.

What a goof!

Then Brandon got off early from work and we headed out on a 4 hour date to the fair--oh, how I love the fair!! We chowed down on bacon cheeseburgers, Paninis, french fries, Tiger Ears, and ice cream!! Yes, we're all about the food!! I even entered for next years Cake Decorating show and Photography show.  We had a blast! it was a much needed break from my kiddos, although I loved coming home to them. Logan even asked us, " HOw was the fair guys?" - all grown up like.
