Oh, yes, it's 80's night!

Yep, I admit it, I'm a horrid blogger. I try. I think about it everyday. And then the day gets away from me.

I've been going through some personal stuff... hopefully it will all be behind me soon. :)

On a much funner note... you HAVE to see these pics of us from Halloween! Hilarious.

Yep, that's me--even made those leg warmers myself. I might have to come up with an excuse to wear them again!!

And do I even need to say how AWESOME Brandon's outfit is????? He found that Member's Only jacket at DI. It cost $6-- I told him he could buy it only if he promised to have it replace his other jacket. LOL He hasn't followed through yet! And that mullet wig-- is there even anything to say??? NO one recognized him at the party.

Here's Logan as a SCARY vampire. I made the costume myself. He had fun wearing it around the house for days. His favorite thing about being a vampire is saying, "I Vant to suck your blood" to everyone. They all get a kick out of it. I even sprayed his hair black-- turned out so fun, but when it came time to wash it out, I couldn't BELIEVE how long it took to get back to normal. Our bathtub is black.

And this is the only picture I could get of Landen boy. He would NOT turn around for me to take a picture!! Cut dino.

ANd then I have this picture-- WAYYYYYY too close to the camera, boy!! A little blurry, but I love those cheeks!! ;)

Couldn't resist putting the mullet wig on Landen. Bwahahahahahaha.... isn't it soooo Joe Dirt??

For the love of pain killers...

sweet, sweet painkillers... thank you so much for being by my side through this past week. Without you I could not talk, eat, drink, or get out of bed. My children would have had no mother.

Unfortunately the strep has left and now I'm returning to my usual self. So until next time... you will be missed (trust me!)

Can anyone, ANYONE let us borrow their good bill of health?? At least for the winter????

To p lease my mother, here's some pictures of our kitchen that we painted blue and added those floating shelves from IKEA. the flowers are from my garden this year!! My mother made my fun Roman Shades--aren't they beautiful!

Now, off to catch up on..... pretty much everything!!!

Long time, no see

With finishing our basement, Logan starting preschool, our basement flooding--again, a change in some scrapbooking jobs, and trying to keep up with the day to day stuff, I lost track of my poor blog!!

It's been a while. I'd be surprised if anyone still looks at this blog! LOL

Well, this will be a short post--just a couple pics to share--since my mother told me she's dying for new pictures!

Just some fun ones of Landen--"What? Don't you wear your strainer like this?"

This is my first shirt I sewed--pretty cool. I feel very "Martha". LOL (excuse the wrinkles--it was the end of the day!)

Yes, officer??

This is me hanging my head in shame.

I got pulled over for the FIRST time in my life.

I was at a four way stop behind a HUGE line of cars that we going straight, I needed to turn right, so I went around them. Not smart when you're yelling at your two boys to stop fighting over a ballon and you have a headache--cuz then you don't notice the cop in line.

of course when the officer asked me why I did that, I told him I was a little distracted by my boys yelling in the back. He looks back and says, "well, they aren't screaming now." WELL OF COURSE NOT--you're scaring the dickens out of them! (yes, I wrote dickens--got that from my grandma.) The nerve--he must not have kids.

Couldn't find my insurance paper because Brandon just switched to a new company.

Started crying.

Logan asked me, "why is the police officer pulling us over?"

I had to respond, "Because mommy made a poor decision" Then I felt like a HORRIBLE person.

I made it out without a ticket.

Brandon asked me later (after a good laugh) if I had played the "crying" card. I said, " you think that I would cry on purpose??? Do you not know me?? I cry over anything and when you put a headache, two scared children, and can't find the right paperwork together--I'm gonna cry. "

We did make it out alive. So much for my streak. First time for everything.

First day of preschool!

And a little free time for mommy! YAYYY!!

Logan has been talking about preschool for the last couple months. So you can only imagine how excited he was that day. He kept saying, "I'm going to preschool, and you CAN'T come! And Landen has to stay with mommy!" I think he's going to miss me. Sob.

I timed Landen's nap for while Logan's at school so that makes for a couple hours of free time--oh, what will I do???? I can think of a BILLION things!

Here's a picture of Logan doing a little back to school dance!! I keep thinking of that commercial that I love where the kids are doing the robot dance with their backpacks! LOVE it!

Watch out ladies--here comes a charmer!
