Time Machines... why don't we have one?

We went to see Prince Caspian this last saturday with Brandon's parents. While we were there I saw an ad for the 3rd Ice Age movie- which is Logan's favorite movie. When we got home Lyndsay told him all about and he wanted to go right then and there to see it. She explained that it didn't come out until this summer, in the future. He looked up at me with big puppy dog eyes and said, "Mommy, you take me to the future?" I laughed and said, "sorry honey, I don't have my time machine right now!" Would have been nice to have one though. But then again, I treasure my time with my boys, don't want to miss them growing up for the world!!

Memorial Day at Leo's Place

So much for our BBQ we had planned! It rained all day-kinda reminded me of home! :) So we scratched our plans and headed over to Leo's place for burgers, pizza, and video games!! What more could you ask for? We spent the whole day together, shopping, eating, and playing games. Lynne- you still owe me a game of Harry Potter Scene it!! Here's some fun pictures from our day!

Goin' for a ride!

Logan has so much fun playing with Daddy outside! HE loves this car that grandma has and he's always pretending to fill the car with gas by sticking grass in it. cracks me up! I remember doing that when I was a kid. The funny thing is that I never showed him that, I think it's just in our DNA as kids! Love that picture of Logan in the car, blurriness and all! I'm reading a wonderful book I think that every mother should pick up, it's called Piggyback Rides and Slippery Slides by Lynnae Allred. Really changed my way of thinking! No more drilling Logan with the ABCs! Totally made so much sense!

Getting to know Landen...

Landen's personality has really blossomed this last month and it's been fun getting to know him. Here's ten things about Landen:

1.) He scares REALLY easily. Even when I've been playing with him for a while, if I say boo! he jumps.
2.) He laughs everytime I take off his shirt. I don't know what's so funny about it, but it totally makes my day!
3.) He has bright red hair. I hope it stays that color!
4.) Landen will NOT take a bottle or a pacifier. I've tried everything!
5.) The only toy that really captures his attention is his bear mobile in the crib (that he won't sleep in).
6.) He will only sleep in his swing or car seat.
7.) He spits up.. A lot! Logan spit up maybe three times the whole time he was a baby. Landen spits up like 4 times every time he eats. Then I have to change my clothes multiple times a day.
8.)We call him Mr. Smiley because you just have to look at him and he'll give you a big gummy grin, totally melts my heart!
9.)He falls asleep better for Daddy than for Mommy. :(
10.)Landen has rubbed off a line of hair on the back of his head and now he looks so funny from the back. Hopefully it will grow back soon!

Rock-a-Bye Baby...

Landen was enjoying his mobile this morning his his crib when I heard Logan climb in next to him to watch. He's such a good big brother, he even covered up Landen with a blanket because Logan said he was cold. Even though it's supposed to hit 85 today. They sat in there for 15 minutes just content to be together. So sweet.

The sun will come out...

NEVER!! We thought we had a sunny day, until we got to the park and the clouds rolled in. We even got rained on. Oh, summer where are you?? Still got some fun shots of the boys playing together on the big toy over at the elementary school. They didn't want to leave, we'll have to bring them back soon. Hey-whatever gets me a little break huh?

Is that Mickey watering our lawn??

Nanny surprised us with a package last week filled with goodies. She stuck this Mickey hat in there and Logan has been having a ball with it. He even had to water our dry lawn while wearing it. Logan has shown it off to everyone!Thanks Nanny! This is going to make some sweet pictures!! I love the pic of logan with the Mickey hat on all wonky. It looks like a Mickey Mohawk!!
